Do you need to know how to swim?
Yes, you must be able to swim to take part in a canoe trip.
What is the minimum age?
The trip is open to children aged 7 and over.
With an instructor, children as young as 4 can take part.
Is the return journey included?
Yes, the return journey is always organised and included in the price.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes, cancellation is free of charge up to 48 hours before the date of your trip.Is the Salavas jetty far from Vallon?
No, our base is located in Salavas, just 2 km from Vallon-Pont-d'Arc (a 5-minute drive).How long does a trip take?
It depends on the route you choose:- Short route: 5 km, approx. 1½ hours of paddling (ideal for first-timers)
- Long-distance route: 36 km over 2 days with camping, 7–8 hours of paddling in total.
Can you go for a swim during the trip?
Yes, there are several beaches where you can stop for a swim whenever you like.

We run hourly return shuttle buses from Châmes to the water sports centre for the 8km and 13km routes.

Our life jackets and paddles are made in France. And to top it all off: our canoes and kayaks are designed and manufactured locally, in the Ardèche.
